Studs are the easiest jewelry to lose and the hardest to store.
They end up in a dish by the sink, and within a month the backs are gone and half the pairs are singles. This is three velvet compartments in a walnut frame — one for studs, one for rings, one for a fine chain — small enough for a nightstand or a weekender, and finished well enough to leave out.
Choose your lid
Solid walnut — the keepsake version. A magnetic wood lid that takes engraving beautifully: a name or a date burned into the grain, the way it looks on a piece of real furniture. This is the one to buy if it's a gift.
Clear acrylic — the everyday version. Magnetic too, but you can see every pair without lifting it. This is the one to buy if it lives on your dresser and you're choosing earrings in a hurry.
Same walnut base, same three compartments, same velvet, same free engraving, same price. The lid is the only difference.
Three things it fixes
Pairs stop becoming singles. One compartment, both earrings, lid on. Most lost earrings aren't lost — they're separated.
The lid doesn't drift open. Inlaid corner magnets, not a friction fit, so it holds shut in a handbag or a carry-on.
Fine chains stop knotting. The third compartment is sized for a dainty chain laid flat rather than coiled.
Free engraving, up to 30 characters
A name. A date. Two words. Type it into the Free Engraving field above — or leave it blank and simply reply to your order confirmation email.
Either way, we email you before anything is cut. You'll get layout options to choose from, and nothing is engraved until you've approved one. That is also your chance to check the spelling: names are the easiest thing in the world to get wrong, and wood does not have an undo.
Same price with or without engraving. Engraved pieces are made to order, so they need 1–2 business days more and can't be returned unless they arrive damaged.

Which lid should I choose?
Buy the solid walnut lid if it's a gift, if you want the engraving to be the thing people notice, or if you like the piece to read as an object rather than a container. Engraving on walnut is a warm, tactile burn into the grain.
Buy the clear acrylic lid if it lives on an open dresser and you want to see what's inside without opening it. Faster in the morning, and it keeps the contents dust-free while still on show.
There's no upgrade here — just two different jobs, at the same price.

- Nothing here is a pre-order. Typically delivered in 6–12 business days — 1–3 business days to pack and dispatch, plus 5–8 business days of tracked transit. Engraved pieces are personalized after you order, so dispatch can take up to 4 business days while we confirm your layout with you.
- Duties are prepaid. Nothing extra is collected on delivery.
