How the trays are built — the questions people ask

Are the ring slots removable? No. Each tray is one fixed velvet insert, and the ring slots are part of that insert — they don't lift out. If you want a tray with no slots at all, that is exactly what the Flat tray is: one open velvet bed with nothing dividing it.

Is the bottom wood or fabric? Fabric. Every tray is lined in soft velvet across the whole interior — the bed, the compartment walls, and the ring slots themselves. There is no bare wood on the inside of any tray, so rings, plated pieces and watch cases never touch timber.

Can I swap inserts between trays? No — each tray is a single layout. The set gives you three different layouts in one footprint. If you need a fourth, add a single tray in the layout you're missing; any combination stacks flush.
