At the ceremony, this box is in more photos than the cake.

The rings get shot on the way in, during the vows, and again on the table afterwards. A closed wooden box photographs as a closed wooden box — which is why this one has a clear lid. Six-sided solid black walnut base, both bands visible, your names and the date engraved on the lid.

Three things that matter on the day

The rings show without anyone holding it open. The clear acrylic lid means every shot has the rings in it. Nobody has to prop it open or hold it at an angle.

Hard for a ring bearer to spill. Hidden magnets in the corners hold the lid shut — no clasp to fumble, nothing to catch on a pocket. Each band sits in its own velvet row, gripped by the fabric rather than rolling loose.

It outlives the day. Free engraving on the lid: two names, the date, three words. After the wedding it's the thing on the shelf, not the thing in a drawer.

Free engraving, up to 30 characters

Names, a date, or a short line. Type it into the Free Engraving field above — or leave it blank and simply reply to your order confirmation email.

Either way, we email you within one business day with three laid-out versions — different line breaks, different typefaces — and nothing is cut until you pick one. That is also your chance to check the spelling: names are the easiest thing in the world to get wrong, and wood does not have an undo.

Same price with or without engraving. Engraved pieces are made to order, so they need 1–2 business days more and can't be returned unless they arrive damaged.

How it arrives

Checked and packed by hand in a rigid keepsake gift box — ready to give, no wrapping needed.

This one, or the single ring box?

They're for two different moments — the proposal and the ceremony.

This hexagon double ring boxtwo velvet rows, one band in each, under a clear acrylic lid. Built for the ceremony: the rings stay visible for photos and for the handover.

The single ring box — smaller, square, with a solid walnut hinged lid, in a single-slot version for the proposal or a double-slot version for two bands. Built for the pocket: it hides better and it doesn't show what's inside, which is the whole point when you're proposing.

Short version: proposing → the single ring box. Ceremony → this one.

How to check your rings will fit

The interior has two parallel velvet rows — one ring in each. A pair of wedding bands, or an engagement ring in one row and a band in the other.

A wedding is usually three rings, not two — the engagement ring, her band, and his band. If you want all three in the same photograph, the usual solution is to nest the engagement ring together with her band in one row and put his ring in the other.

Tall settings are the thing to check. Stand the ring on a flat surface, measure from the bottom of the band to the top of the stone, and email us that number at info@gzjslove.com before you order — we'll confirm the lid closes cleanly over it. Cathedral and high-prong settings are usually fine; unusually tall solitaires are worth checking.
